ABOUT
Real estate investing, development, and private lending have been my work for more than 35 years — across residential acquisition, renovation, new construction, and investment structuring.
During that time I have raised private capital, structured partnerships between active and passive investors, managed projects, and mentored investors entering the real estate business at every stage.
As the co-founder of real estate fund management companies, I helped structure deals with more than two hundred investors, representing more than $200 million in real estate transactions. I also founded and hosted a monthly private real estate investment club in San Jose, California — built around collaboration, education, and the belief that the best deals happen when the right people work together — that grew to more than 4,250 members.
That body of work became the foundation for Mastering Real Estate Investing with Private Money: No Capital Required. Higher Returns Possible. The Collaborative Partnership.— a practical, step-by-step system built from more than 35 years of real estate experience.
What that work has shown me, consistently, is that the best deals happen when the right people work together — and that building something on a foundation of fairness is not just the right way to operate. It is the most practical one.
Because of what I learned starting out with no capital, no partners, and no roadmap, my goal has always been to help beginners find their footing in real estate investing — and then help active and passive investors find each other, structure deals fairly, and complete projects that neither could do alone. That work is grounded in the same principles the book teaches — transparency, fair compensation, disciplined due diligence, and the belief that sharing what you know creates more opportunity for everyone.
